FBM Director and Publisher, Andrew Smart, said that the awards - determined by independent judges - were an acknowledgement of the professionalism and skill of the entire Asia team of Fairfax Business Media , plus the commitment and loyalty of the senior IT executive subscribers and readers of the digital and hard copy publications.
"Our research shows that our hard copy magazines are read cover to cover by senior IT decision makers, and they are also circulated widely through major organisations, so they continue to provide a great opportunity for advertisers to reach the people who make the IT spending decisions," Smart said.
FBM managing editor, Ross O. Storey, is the editor of MIS Asia and CIO Asia magazines.
"Arguably, our magazines have the most comprehensive sources of content of any publishing group in the Asia Pacific region, so they are definitely a 'a must read' for senior executives," Storey said.
"Our web portal has gone from strength to strength and the gold award is testimony to the hard work and commitment of our team, headed by online editor Zafar Anjum, which now constantly upgrades the portal, while also circulating 19 different specialist e-newsletters weekly."
