Plastic Surgery Specialists is first practice to offer QuickLift in San Francisco

Dr. Stanley Poulos and Dr. Yngvar Hvistendahl have become the latest board-certified plastic surgeons to offer the innovative QuickLift procedure at their practice, Plastic Surgery Specialists, with multiple offices in the San Francisco area.

Poulos and Hvistendahl are co-founders of Plastic Surgery Specialists and are both on staff at Marin General Hospital, where both have served as chief of the plastic surgery division. They have more than 30 years of plastic surgery experience between them. In addition to Quicklift facial rejuvenation, they are recognized Bay area experts in breast enhancement and body contouring, especially their Mommy Makeover procedure.

QuickLift is a revolutionary procedure that tightens sagging skin in a minimally invasive way and offers significant improvements immediately. The procedure can be completed with local anesthesia in one to two hours without the significant recovery and downtime required by a traditional facelift.

"In my 25 years as a plastic surgeon, I have not seen a minimally invasive procedure that works this well. Many patients look almost 10 years younger following the procedure," said Dr. Poulos. "Plastic Surgery Specialists is very excited to offer this procedure to Bay area residents."

"QuickLift offers great results, and I am sure our patients will be thrilled about the prospect of staying ahead of the aging process," said Dr. Hvistendahl.

Dr. Poulos earned his MD from The University of Texas after attending Southern Methodist University. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) General Surgery and his plastic surgery fellowship at St. Francis Hospital. He also holds positions at Marin General Hospital and Greenbrae Surgery Center.

Dr. Hvistendahl is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He also completed his residency and plastic surgery fellowship at UCSF, General Surgery. Both he and Dr. Poulos are board certified plastic surgeons and active members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

About QuickLift®
The QuickLift provides an overall lower- to mid-facelift and improves the appearance of the upper neck, offering significant age-diminishing effects with minimal downtime and lasting results. The QuickLift is designed for men and women between the ages of 40 and 65+ who want to stay ahead of the aging process. At these ages, most individuals lose elasticity in their skin and develop varying degrees of looseness along the jaw line and beneath the chin. Unlike procedures with similar names and most mini facelifts that tighten only skin, the QuickLift permanently suspends the underlying structures of the lower face (SMAS) offering men and women the benefit of a more youthful appearance for years to come. Although the QuickLift can produce significant aesthetic improvement for most people, after any facial procedure the normal aging process resumes. Lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, sun exposure, and heredity all play a part in determining how long the desired result will last. For more information, visit http://www.quickliftmd.com.
