Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs have released a cover of The Runaways song, "Cherry Bomb" that absolutely trumps the original and the soundtrack version. All proceeds from online sales (iTunes, etc..) of the Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs version of "Cherry Bomb" go to help runaway kids through NIKKI SIXX's charity initiative, "Running Wild in the Night".

Parallel with the release of the movie, "The Runaways", Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs will be promoting and performing "Cherry Bomb" this Saturday (3/20/2010) in the middle of the SXSW craziness in Austin Texas at Malaia at 7:15pm.
