We also share CHRISTUS Health's vision for a fully-integrated healthcare experience that links patients, physicians and clinicians across the healthcare system.
Birmingham, Ala. (PRWEB) March 19, 2010
MEDSEEK, the leading provider of healthcare enterprise portal connectivity solutions, announced plans today to develop CHRISTUS Health's consumer portal in a first step toward implementing the eHealth ecoSystemTM by MEDSEEK.
MEDSEEK will work quickly to revitalize the healthcare system's Web presence, which has not seen a major update since CHRISTUS was formed, and consolidate its 18 sites into a single, enterprise-wide consumer portal. Existing vendor contracts require a June 2010 go-live date for the new community-facing site, which will drive increased Web traffic, greater brand recognition and high user loyalty. In addition, the solution will allow for future system integration, is scalable for future growth and positions the CHRISTUS network to continue effectively engaging and serving patients, residents and consumers.
"We chose MEDSEEK because of their willingness to meet our aggressive timeframe on the enterprise Web site, consolidating all of our external Web presence to a single platform. We will also look to MEDSEEK to grow with our needs and prepare us for the next step: engaging patients," stated CHRISTUS Health Director of eMarketing Michael Fouratt. "Once we have our single Web site, we will quickly move to use the MEDSEEK risk assessment tools to build service line awareness and help our patients take a more wellness-focused approach to their own health care."
"We welcome the opportunity to work with CHRISTUS in developing its enterprise-wide consumer portal to replace the network's multiple sites with platforms that are more interactive and user-friendly," stated Peter Kuhn, MEDSEEK CEO. "We also share CHRISTUS Health's vision for a fully-integrated healthcare experience that links patients, physicians and clinicians across the healthcare system."
