EasyLobby, a leading provider of secure visitor management solutions, has announced the availability of an add-on software module that tightly integrates EasyLobby's SVMTM (Secure Visitor Management) software with UTC Fire & Security’s (UTCFS) line of GE access control systems, including Picture Perfectä, Facility Commanderä Wnx, Secure Perfect ä and Diamond IIä. As part of the announcement, UTCFS has also become an authorized reseller for the full line of EasyLobby visitor management products, and will be offering the integrated solution to its dealers and customers worldwide.
With the software integration module, customers using SVM and UTCFS access control will be able to issue different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees directly from the EasyLobby SVM visitor form. When a visitor or contractor is badged using SVM, the person’s name and photo, the employee being visited, the access level granted, the card number, and the expiration date/time is automatically passed from the SVM database to the UTC database, and the prox card (or barcode) is activated in real-time. In addition, when the visitors checks out of EasyLobby, the UTC system is immediately notified and the card is deactivated. Cards do not need to be pre-programmed, and they can be re-used.
