The "Elias Sun Block" could enhance the user's comfort while working outside on hot, sunny days. The accessory would cover and protect the back of the neck and ears from sunlight. Designed to minimize the dangers associated with prolonged exposure to sunlight, the item could provide peace of mind for an outdoor worker. Easily reusable, the accessory would aid in keeping dust and debris from sliding down the back of a user's shirt and absorb the sweat that collects on the back of the user's neck.
The Elias Sun Block" would consist of an extension that would connect to the head liner of the interior of the rear of a hard hat. The unit would be composed of cotton and feature a roughly rectangular design with a rounded bottom portion. The accessory would measure 16-inches long and 12-inches wide. The loops would be positioned along the top of the extension to allow it to be connected to the head liner. A user would attach the extension to the hard hat's liner and wear the hard hat normally. The accessory could be producible in a variety of colors to match a user's uniform.
