Brooklyn Exposed announces it's website launch event.

Brooklyn Exposed ( is proud to announce its website launch event, taking place on Wednesday April 7, 2010 at the 6,200 sq ft performing and arts space, Littlefield - in Gowanus, Brooklyn.    

Guests will enjoy networking, live jazz/funk music by Scott Barkan and Trio, small bites from Linger Café and Lounge, desserts by Le Petite Café and Brooklyn Treat Shoppe and exclusive viewing of the website on available laptops. The first 200 guests to arrive will receive a goody bag with contributions from Edible Brooklyn Magazine, Crunch Fitness, Sterling Place Gifts and more. Other lucky attendees will enjoy raffle prizes, such as a pair of tickets to see Creditors at Brooklyn Academy of Music, admission for two to enjoy Cocktail Hour at the American Cancer Society's 2nd Annual Pink & Black Tie Gala, a wine and cheese basket from 1-800-FLOWERS and more.

Founded by Sharon Beason - owner of All About Brooklyn Concierge and Creator of the Brooklyn Perks Savings Card - Brooklyn Exposed is an online guide to everything Brooklyn. The site will offer readers business listings to browse, the ability to create accounts and write reviews, articles on all things Brooklyn and updates about local events and news.

“Brooklyn Exposed is excited to offer residents easily accessible information for all their arts and entertainment, lifestyle and social scene needs," states Ms. Beason. “From where to enjoy a romantic date with Brooklyn's best views, to top men's clothing stores, brunch, happy hour and event recommendations, we’re happy to be Brooklyn’s source.”

Ms. Beason founded the site in response to her personal experience. "I grew tired of reading only snippets of information about Brooklyn in major publications and wanted to recognize Brooklyn in its entirety and for its role as a cultural and arts and entertainment enclave."

Brooklyn Exposed has established a partnership with Nets Basketball to keep readers informed of news centered around the stages of construction of the Barclays Center – new home to The Brooklyn Nets. “Nets Basketball is so pleased to be a part of Brooklyn Exposed. Our future home in Brooklyn, the Barclays Center, will be a primary destination for sports and entertainment in the New York area and what better way to showcase it than with Brooklyn Exposed. We are so excited about this partnership and about the launch of this one-stop online Brooklyn guide", states Laura Castronovo, Director of Research & Strategic Marketing with Nets Basketball.
