Digital Marketing agency iCrossing has won the award for Best Pay Per Click campaign for airport operator BAA at this year's Travel Marketing Awards, which took place on Monday 15th March at the Sheraton Park Lane.
The agency was awarded a silver rating and won the Best Pay Per Click category, for its hugely successful campaign to increase pre-bookings in the company's car parks.
By uniting paid and natural search, unique social media expertise and keyword research techniques, iCrossing identified how potential users searched for car parking online, producing a search marketing campaign with impressive results.
iCrossing were joint winners in this category with MediaVest for its campaign for Europcar.
Mark Raymond, Senior Account Manager, iCrossing said "To win this award is fantastic, especially with the stiff competition we were facing. We took this campaign in an innovative direction, using our insight from careful research to deliver top results for BAA."
Nick Adderley, Marketing and Insight Director at BAA, said: "iCrossing has delivered on every count - they have given us responsive customer service, great strategic insight and execution that has delivered real value to our business. Their ability to deliver synergies between paid and natural search marketing activities mean that they've delivered more than the sum of the parts in this campaign, and that's a real win for us."
