Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 25, 2010
Bar Code Graphics, Inc. recently released a major upgrade to CardBank (version 2.0). Since it was launched in August 2009, CardBank has been downloaded by over 50,000 users.
Of all the new features and enhancements added, the ability to add custom cards was the most requested. In addition to picking from a preprogrammed list, a user can now enter the name and code of their card and select the bar code type. To enhance the user experience the bar code types are displayed graphically and the user has only to tap the bar code that visually matches their card. Another added feature was the ability to find and map the nearest retailer directly from the loyalty card screen. With the tap of a map button, the user's location is computed and a map is displayed of the nearest surrounding stores. Also, the card list is now sorted alphabetically with a tab bar to jump to each section by letter.
Many of the additions to CardBank were a direct result of customer feedback on Twitter. The development team uses Twitter as the primary communication method because it provides quick response and a searchable repository for FAQ's and suggestions. CardBank now includes a link in the info screen to its own Twitter page along with the links to the website and to request new cards. CardBank's Twitter page is located at http://twitter.com/CardBank .
