The Business Software Centre (TBSC), the SaaS enabler, has signed an agreement with educational software reseller, Citnexus to provide a Microsoft™ software subscription service for teachers, students and charities.
The service, powered by Rentsoft™, enables educational users to use a selection of Microsoft™ software applications online with a username and password and an easy-to-use user interface.
Applications which include Microsoft™ Office Standard 2007 and Professional Plus 2007; Microsoft™ Project Professional and Microsoft™ Visio Professional are accessed online with prices starting at just £5.99 per month. There is no commitment period, no additional hardware or software costs and subscribers will be upgraded to new software versions, such as Office 2010, free of charge.
This hosted solution from Rentsoft™ enables educational users to use full versions of Microsoft™ software online from any machine, anywhere in world. All you need is a Rentsoft™ subscription and an internet connection. Applications behave as if running locally and can integrate with local printers and drives. Subscriptions include a free trial period and with no commitment, users can come and go as they please.
