Author's words will teach readers to be His champions

Within the pages of Rev. Joni's new Xulon Press title, Godly Success ($14.99, papberback, 978-1-61579-593-2), lies a recipe for success--one that will empower readers to achieve success in a way that pleases God. Filled with a collection of short success stories from Bible characters, church fathers, and contemporary people, this book features insights and practical suggestions drawn from the author's many years as a Christian, a former teacher, a trainer, a healing evangelist, and a missionary. Prophetic, life-transforming, and hope-giving, it was meant for such a time as this.

"This book will teach you to be God's champions," the author says. "What God has done through others, He can do through you to affect the world around you. You are called into a destiny of over-comers, conquerors, warriors, priests, prophets, kings, etc., by developing godly characters."

A former economics lecturer, Rev. Joni had attended a healing conference in Manila, where God laid it on her heart to write a study about the lives of successful people in order to become one. She says that throughout the process of writing this book, she benefited from the simple and generous lifestyles of John Wesley and George Muller. It is her desire to see her readers achieve the God kind of success by learning from others who have achieved success in their lives--in much the same way as she did.

Rev. Joni holds an M.Div. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MBA from Newport University, and a BA from University Malaya. She is currently working on her D.Min.
