The new localized social media site provides visitors with expert gardening advice, up-to-date activities from local gardening events, and an oversized photo gallery to view, upload and comment on neighborhood gardens.
“Growing up in London, gardening has always been a communal activity with my best resources being family and friends,” said Laura Ferro owner of Giverny Gardens. “The creation of MainLineGardening.com was a natural way to keep connected and celebrate our commitment to the environment and the communities in which we conduct business.”
MainLineGardening.com has assembled a team of experienced horticulturists, writers and gardening experts from around the country to share gardening tips and advice with site visitors. Contributing writers include Kathleen Roberts a Master Gardener; Jeanne Grunert an award winning writer and author of Get Your Hands Dirty – A Beginner’s Guide to Gardening: Alison Pottage, B.S & M.S. The new website offers the region's only comprehensive list of garden activities from all of Pennsylvania’s top garden resources.
