Yoga and pilates lovers can now do 'downward-dog' and 'the hundred' for hundreds less, thanks to Do Yoga And Pilates, a new donation-based studio situated at 78 Reade St. between Broadway and Church in the heart of Tribeca.

A spinoff of Body and Mind Builders, a wellness and learning center for people of all ages, Do Yoga And Pilates is a karma yoga studio, offering more than 50 donation-based vinyasa flow yoga, restorative yoga, pilates mat, and meditation classes 7 days a week. Private instruction and special workshops are also available.

“Practice when you want, pay what you want - is why we developed Do Yoga And Pilates,” said Elisa Chen and Clemens Chin, co-owners of Do Yoga And Pilates. “We want to make yoga and pilates classes more accessible and affordable for everyone interested in strengthening their bodies and minds in a time when stress-relieving practices matter the most.”

Do Yoga And Pilates has a suggested donation of $10 per class but you can contribute what you feel comfortable with. We offer online advance registration as well as child supervision to make it as convenient as possible to come to a class. Do Yoga And Pilates is an eco-friendly studio which incorporates zero VOC paint, recycled wood, bamboo floors, CF lighting and a complimentary UV-filtered water station.
