Top Scores for Ease of Use and Other Features Go to WorkforceLogic Essential

A recent independent survey of temporary staffing firms across the U.S. found that the WorkforceLogic Vendor Management System (VMS) is the preferred VMS among top competitors. WorkforceLogic Essential was voted the most popular VMS overall and scored highest on several key features and benefits.

The survey was conducted by international marketing firm Rocket Science over a one-month period beginning January 2010. An email invitation to participate in the survey was sent to more than 1,500 staffing professionals representing 373 companies nationwide.

WorkforceLogic Scores Highest
WorkforceLogic was ranked as the most frequently used VMS system among the top five vendors, with 91% of survey respondents indicating that they currently use or have used WorkforceLogic Essential. Of the many respondents who indicated having used a variety of VMS systems, the majority named WorkforceLogic as their favorite.

Most Important VMS Features
Technology companies often include features in their products that few people use. The survey took this into consideration and asked respondents to rank VMS features according to which are most important to large companies:

1. Ease of Use
2. Submittal Process
3. Requisition View
4. Interview Process
5. Email Communications
6. Offer Processing
7. Timecard Processing
8. Reporting

Workforce Logic VMS Feature Ratings
Survey respondents then rated each VMS vendor on these key features. WorkforceLogic received the highest score for ease of use—the feature selected as most important—with 74% of respondents ranking WorkforceLogic as “excellent” or “above average” in this category (compared to 52% for the second-ranked vendor). In fact, WorkforceLogic received the highest scores overall, receiving more ratings of “excellent” or “above average” than the other four vendors. Fieldglass received the second highest scores, while IQNavigator placed third.

Gary Nelson, Chairman and CEO of WorkforceLogic, says, “We pride ourselves on listening to our clients and letting them help guide our technology development. We stay in contact throughout the year, including in-person quarterly reviews to get feedback on our product and services. It appears that our efforts towards listening to the ‘market’ have paid off!”

In addition to feature ratings and vendor rankings, the survey asked staffing professionals to share the advice they would give their VMS vendors. The responses strongly indicated that companies prefer VMS vendors who develop tools that are simple to use and that include only relevant features.

According to one staffing firm representative who has used WorkforceLogic VMS, “WorkforceLogic is simple, to the point and the most logical VMS I have ever used.”

Another respondent states, “WorkforceLogic tends to defer to the clients’ interests, whereas the rest pretend to be something that they are not...the client.”
