Philosophy Communication President to Support Country’s Oldest Press Club

The Denver Press Club (DPC) has named Jennifer Lester as the co-chair to the Club’s Marketing and Public Relations Committee. Ms. Lester will be heading the committee with co-chair Jennifer Shermer. Bruce Goldberg, president of the DPC, chose Ms. Lester to co-chair the committee because of her reputation for executing successful marketing and public relations campaigns.

Ms. Lester and the committee will work to promote the Club’s signature events, like the Damon Runyon Awards, Hall of Fame and the satirical Gridiron Show. She also will publicize the Club’s rental facilities for private business meetings, press conferences and wedding receptions.

“I am honored to promote such a reputable and well-run organization as the Denver Press Club,” said Jennifer Lester, co-founder of Philosophy Communication, Inc. “With such a great team by my side, it will be a pleasure to publicize the events and programs we host at our Club. My vision for the organization is simple: increase event attendance and expose more of the Denver community to the cherished, historic Press Club.”

The Denver Press Club is the oldest press club in the country, founded in 1867. In addition to being a meeting place for members of the press, the Denver Press Club has entertained many prominent guests over the years, including Presidents Roosevelt, Taft, Harding and Wilson.

The Press Club not only offers signature and special events, it also features a full bar and meal service, a billiards room, and the opportunity to rent the space with full catering for private events.
