Free Chiropractic Care for Returning Veterans

The International Chiropractic Association has asked Doctors of Chiropractic around the United States to participate in a new initiative aimed at supporting America’s newest returning veterans with immediate access to chiropractic services.

Because of a desire to serve and to fill a vitally important health care gap, doctors around the nation have extended an offer of care for one full year for any U.S. military veteran returning from overseas deployment in Afghanistan or Iraq at no charge.

Dr. Leonard Vernon of East Gate Chiropractic in Mount Laurel is proud to be a part of this program. He has contacted many local organizations and service groups in the area to ensure as many veterans as possible know that this initiative is up and running. He is also reaching out to other health care providers in the Camden Burlington Counties to pledge similar offers to returning veterans. "It is my hope that soon we will have a Dentist and a Psychotherapist offering free care as well. It’s the least we can do for our servicemen and women who protect our freedoms, which we take for granted all too often," Vernon said.
