Venues that subscribe to The Virtual Jukebox (http://www.thevirtualjukebox.com) are provided with a streaming music player that connects to their existing stereo system and internet connection (either wired or wifi). Advert free music is streamed to the venue from genres of their choosing, and played out to the public through their existing speakers. Each venue is assigned a unique keyword so that customers can automatically request a song by sending a text message from their mobile phone. For example: JUKE123 Thriller by Michael Jackson.
Customer phone numbers are stored in the system, so that venue owners can send SMS marketing messages directly to the hands of their customers after their visit. This can be used to promote new products, events or even run competitions. (A customer can unsubscribe from the list at any time by simply sending an unsubscribe message.)
80’s night on Thursday’s, Pop music at the weekend? No problem. The Virtual Jukebox comes with an intuitive web based control panel to give immediate control over what is played, and when it’s played. No more trawling through playlists, phone calls or engineer visits – The Virtual Jukebox can be controlled securely from any computer with an internet connection and web browser.
The Virtual Jukebox is an inexpensive way to provide fresh, licensed music to customers, and help create a lively and profitable environment without the cost or limitations of a traditional jukebox or music service. Add in the ability to send inexpensive and targeted adverts to customers – The Virtual Jukebox is a powerful marketing and revenue generation tool.
Revenue generated by the service is split 50:50 with the venue and paid each month by bank transfer.
Subscription to the service for venues is £12.99/week.
Text messages are charged to the end users at 50p inc VAT plus the standard network rate.
