Phenomenal moms-helping-moms-to-be website MomAtLast.com announces a “share your journey” contest with a $100 prize. In just 1 year, MomAtLast.com has become a great resource for women of all ages who are trying to become parents – whether through traditional pregnancy, surrogacy, foster parenting, adoption or in-vitro fertilization - as well as a place for those who have already experienced motherhood thanks to adoption, IVF or other means to share their knowledge. Now MomAtLast.com has a pair of $100 gift cards for the authors of the most inspiring and heart-warming stories shared on its message boards.
“It’s so important for women to know they’re not alone out there,” said MomAtLast.com founder Sharon Simons, who adopted baby boys from Russia with her husband in 2007. “Trying to adopt a baby from overseas is a roller coaster experience, and it’s quite easy to get discouraged. But as the proud parent of two boys, I want people to know how wonderfully satisfying it is to see the process through.”
Simons started MomAtLast.com in 2009. She felt there was a need for a site that offered information and support for couples trying to conceive or who were pondering surrogacy, adoption, foster parenting or in-vitro fertilization. It’s a place where articles on every facet of the process can be found, together with a Community Forum for the prospective mothers—and fathers—to get useful feedback on their questions and share their experiences.
MomAtLast.com has grown faster than even Simons anticipated, but she is hopeful the contest will generate increased visibility for the site and attract more readers than ever.
“We need your help!” Simons said. “Our community is great, but we know there are couples out there who have had trouble conceiving and who feel as if they are all alone with nobody to turn to. I hope this contest draws more people to MomAtLast.com and allows us to help women and families get the information and support they need along their journey toward motherhood.”
MomAtLast.com is a community-based website that offers a user-generated Community Forum, where mothers and moms-to-be can share their journeys towards motherhood and provides support and encouragement for one another through shared experiences.
