BlogRadio, a streaming media platform that allows users to listen to a blog rather than read it, was one of the winners of Adobe System’s and Nokia’s Open Screen Project.

The project was opened to compelling mobile and wireless applications using Adobe technologies. BlogRadio’s platform is delivered on the Adobe AIR platform, and caught the attention of the project’s judges.

“We knew that leveraging the Adobe ecosystem would be a major competitive advantage for us,” said Tirrell Payton, Founder of BlogRadio, “Now that we have received seed funding, it will be easier for us to push our company to the next level.”

BlogRadio offers blog readers a new way to get their content: via audio. Once a user downloads the software to his desktop or mobile device, he can select the blogs he wants streamed, and listen to any blog post at any time. The application is currently available online at http://www.podblogr.com, and in the iTunes store for Apple devices.
