Despite winning a Columbia County federal stimulus funded contract (Contract # 6550002), Vancouver based All Concrete Specialties, Inc (ACS) has closed and will be auctioned by Tacoma based Ehli Auctions April 28th. ACS was primarily a government contractor completing numerous projects for ODOT, the City of Portland, and other municipalities. Credited projects include work on the Morrison and Burnside bridges, and underground vaults to shore up Oldtown Chinatown. ACS also contributed to a 16% reduction in speeding through the Chapman Elementary School boundaries by constructing permanent pedestrian refuge islands. All 19 employees have been laid off.

Chad Ehli, auctioneer stated that “The auction will take place rain or shine April 28th at 10:00 AM. Items up for bid include Backhoes, Dump trucks, Trenchers, Excavators, Heavy Equipment, Trailers, Pickups and specialty tooling. The auction will be held on site of the former business located at 9415 NE 62nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98665. Additionally bidders will have the opportunity to purchase the 3.6 acre Commercial Real Estate. ”
