Scott Macom targets Beverly Hills Film Festival in mid April as next step to success

With a writing style that has best been described as brutally and sarcastically honest Pa. born Scott Macom is creating waves with two of his most recent projects. Coal Black Hole, a story based in truth about the coal mining regions of Northeastern Pa. and Buck Fever , a more commercially based comedy that has Seth Rogan and Vince Vaughan written all over it. Success is nothing new to Macom.

He is a 1986 graduate of Villanova University where he graduated from the University with highest honors. After attending law school in Ohio, he was one of the youngest attorneys ever appointed to the bench in Ohio. He is a featured columnist in various food magazines with a writing style that is spot on. His screenplay, Coal Black Hole has done very well, winning a Grand prize at The Mountain Film Festival and placing high at the Queens Film Festival.

On April 14th Macom struts his wares at the Beverly Hills Film Festival where Coal Black Hole was a Final Selection. Macom's eventual goal is to become a successful author and screenwriter and put the legal books aside. He is married to wife Kellie and has three sons; Bobby, Alec and Kade.
