Woodstock, NY (PRWEB) April 2, 2010
Stadri Emblems, Inc. a Woodstock-based company and national supplier of embroidered patches, pins, and over 80,000 custom products answers the call to action from adventurer, wildlife educator, and author Rusty Johnson by donating $1,000.00 worth of mosquito nets to children in the Amazon in an effort to curb outbreaks of malaria in that region. Around the world, over 3,000 children a day die of malaria.
“From the first time we heard about Rusty and his passion for protecting the children of the Amazon from malaria, we knew we wanted to do all we could to support his work. At Stadri, we are always making custom emblems for charitable clubs and organizations and those business relationships give us opportunities to use what we do to promote good causes both locally and abroad,” says Brendan Blowers, Marketing Director for Stadri Emblems, Inc. In addition to donating the money for the nets, Stadri is designing, free of charge, a set of woven patches and silicone wristbands to help Rusty promote his "NetsforNinos" program in local schools and on his popular lecture circuit.
Rusty Johnson, a resident of Ulster Park, New York, is currently seeking sponsors and dedications for his upcoming Book/DVD series, “Netting” Adventures, that documents his many trips to South American and African Villages where he leads expeditions and delivers medical supplies, dental-care kits, clothing, and the life-saving malaria nets.
