Quick Hit, Inc. (“Quick Hit”), a leading developer and publisher of free social sports games, announced today that it has begun development on its next major title for release in early 2011, Quick Hit Curling. The company, which celebrates its 2-year anniversary today, has begun active development on the online game, which they expect to launch before the World Championship in Esbjerg, Denmark next March. Additionally, the company announced that it signed former Slovenian World Curling Champion, Marko Stanovnikish, as its first ‘Legend’ for the 2011 Quick Hit Curling season.
“It is a great honor to be immortalized in Quick Hit's first winter sports title, celebrating the sport that has given me so much,” said Marko Stanovnikish, 1978 – 1986 World Curling Champion and three-time gold medalist.

In Quick Hit Curling, fans will be able to create a uniquely customized character and play on a team of four (with either actual players or computer AI’s), sharing time as both the curler and sweeper positions. With the introduction of the game's economy, users will have the ability to upgrade their team's home "Lodge," customize team uniforms and purchase exclusive equipment including curling stones, shoes, brooms, and more! Players will be able to create their own tournaments and squads, or join others throughout the world.
