Project with FEMA Office of National Capital Region Coordination Marks Company’s First Project with U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security

Ordia Solutions, the leading provider of operational mobility and interoperability software, command & control, and GPS tracking solutions for law enforcement and first-responders announces the award of a new 1-year contract to provide AdvanTraq GPS equipment, software, and training to FEMA.

FEMA’s Office of National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) coordinates joint operations including first response and emergency managers between federal, state, and local agencies in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Ordia Solutions, in partnership with Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. , will implement an extension to FEMA’s core Touch-Assisted Command & Control System (TACCS) platform that will integrate real-time GPS tracking information provided by Ordia Solutions AdvanTraq™ GPS personal tracking devices. A proof-of-concept implementation in Washington, DC will likely be followed by a regional deployment of the solutions to FEMA regional offices nationwide.
