In a rarefied corner of the world where invitations to tony events constantly vie for the attention and patronage of a highly sophisticated demographic, The Financial 411's oversubscribed launch of the Women's Fireside Chat proved that women crave reliable and unbiased financial education as much as their male counterparts, and that they are ready to pencil it into their schedules without hesitation.

Created and hosted by veteran financial coach, author, and CEO of The Financial 411, Teresa Dentino, guests of the Tuesday, March 9, 2010 event represented a mix of sophisticated women who drew together for the mutual purpose of networking, learning in a trusted forum, and gaining secure financial education. Noticeably absent were the sales gimmicks, swag bags and pink bows that are typically used to entice attendees to these Silicon Valley financial events. Instead attendees, who were comprised of women from a variety of career levels and backgrounds, participated enthusiastically in this evening of wine, hors d'oeuvres, and honest financial discussions as they heard from a storied Silicon Valley money manager.

With the recent publication of findings from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, it was announced that women's combined worldwide incomes now exceed the income of China and India combined. Pointing to the massive financial control women increasingly wield, new study findings indicate that by 2013 the worldwide income of women will rise by $5.1 trillion, which is greater than China's expected growth of $3 trillion over the same time period.

The Financial 411 was inspired by these results and the financial advances seen personally amongst their female clients as well as the movements across the globe which are being made for women's financial empowerment.

"Our educational programs have been well-received among a variety of women due to their purely educational emphasis, our outcomes-based approach and the fact that we do not offer or promote investment services to our clients," said host Teresa Dentino.

As part of a new outreach featuring clinics, workshops, webinars and call-in coaching classes presented by The Financial 411, the high level of interest shown in the most recent fireside chat demonstrates that women are not only interested in becoming more financially empowered and better stewards of the wealth they control, but also brings to light the need for more targeted education that moves beyond the fundamental starter-level themes of "Buy and Hold" and "Diversify".

"While we continue to work with private coaching engagements and with couples and families alike, we are pleased to introduce the Women's Fireside Chat along with our new e-learning platforms, which benefit everyone, regardless of their physical location or budgetary concerns," Ms. Dentino explained.

Providing ahead of the curve programs for women that deliver an insider's professional insights is not unfamiliar territory for the former General Securities Principal, Teresa Dentino. When she first began presenting financial education information focused on women and their questions and concerns over twenty-five years ago, it was an unheard of tactic.

"It wasn't until 1994 with the publication of the first study on women's investment behaviors that the importance of women in the financial market and their control of financial assets were recognized," adds Dentino. "This was several years after I offered financial education directed specifically towards women and their financial matters. I'm glad to see the trend in women's contributions to wealth that I predicted in 1985 finally reaching their way to Wall Street."

The combination of Ms. Dentino's unique understanding and dedicated knowledge of women's investment habits, beliefs, and challenges allows The Financial 411 to draw interest even among those whose portfolios are already managed by other professionals.

"There is an art, backed by extensive academic research, in how to successfully reach women, which is not related to their ability to comprehend Math," adds Ms. Dentino. "After twenty-five years of studying and working with women, we know where the pitfalls are located. We know what women want and we know how to successfully engage them in this process."

The Financial 411 distinguishes itself from alternative financial education sources through its unbiased presentation of crucial fiscal information and skill sets. The company is arguably the only financial education firm still led by a qualified financial professional rather than associates with non-financial industry backgrounds.

"When a prospective client calls two years after reading your advice in a magazine, as a current client recently did from Texas, you feel gratified to know that you're reaching people and filling a void that exists where Wall Street and other financial service firms leave off" said Ms. Dentino.

By focusing on financial education for women and specializing in the underrepresented area of women's financial questions and issues, The Financial 411 is able to effectively help women attain a solid financial understanding. The company's unique platform allows a greater number of women to feel truly comfortable and gather an expert's insights while claiming their foothold in the financial world.
