Starting April 1, 2010, Jelly Belly® - The Original Gourmet Jelly Bean®, will again launch its Canadian “Spin 2 Win” consumer promotion. In its second year, the integrated and interactive program connects Jelly Belly flavours to personality profiles and awards consumers with instant win prizes and a chance to win a trip to California with the Famous Jelly Belly Factory Tour.
The Canadian initiative, located at http://www.jellybelly.ca is supported by an online media campaign on Facebook and Microsoft Drive Media Network, along with extensive in-store POS materials. "Social media is where our consumers spend most of their leisure time and the on-line component allows us to engage our target consumers on a daily basis,” said Cindy Mayer of Concord Sales Ltd. In addition, a new flavour launch with a summer sampling program will further leverage the social media campaign. The 6 month Canadian program was developed by OptiCom InterActive of Oakville and will run from April 1 to September 31, 2010.
