Legal technology and eDiscovery professionals interested in helping gauge industry trends are invited to participate in The Cowen Group’s Q1 Critical Trends Survey. Survey results will be released to the public on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.

First created in 2008, The Cowen Group’s Quarterly Trends Survey is used by large law firms and corporate legal departments alike for strategic planning to help their long-term technical and human needs. The survey has gained a reputation within the industry for its accuracy due to the high participation rate it receives.

The survey covers areas such as workload expectations (for individuals and groups), headcount, in-sourcing/outsourcing expectations and top staffing and technology priorities anticipated for the upcoming year.

"There is a new generation of eDiscovery professionals who have entered the industry since we began addressing the legal technology industry," said David Cowen, Founder of The Cowen Group. "This survey is very important in helping us provide timely industry intelligence – coupled with a deep understanding of market trends and insights – directly from the mouths of industry leaders."

The Q1 Critical Trends Survey will be open for participants through April 8, 2010 and can be accessed here.
