Tampa, Florida based bilingual education company celebrates Earth Day by launching eco-friendly packaging materials

Boca Beth CDs go green with eco-friendly packaging

“We wanted Boca Beth to be an educational tool for parents to teach their children to learn Spanish, and teach them a healthy respect for our environment as well,” said Beth Butler, Founder and President of The Boca Beth Program.

During the month of April, Boca Beth launches eco-friendly environmental packaging materials for their highly acclaimed language learning program. As many across the nation prepare to celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 2010, Boca Beth is setting an example for America’s families by practicing environmental conservation.

“We wanted Boca Beth to be an educational tool for parents to teach their children to learn Spanish, and teach them a healthy respect for our environment as well,” said Beth Butler, Founder and President of The Boca Beth Program. “Our language learning program is packaged in a reusable backpack that children love to wear, instead of a hard-to-open bubble package used by many other companies.”

Each CD and DVD is packaged in 100% eco-friendly packaging which means they are made of 100% recycled paper and include 100% vegetable based inks so that all of the packaging will decompose in our landfills.

“Earth Day is the perfect time for us to launch this new initiative,” said Butler. In celebration of Earth Day, Boca Beth is offering free shipping on every Boca Beth CD, DVD, language learning book and language learning set. Additionally, with each purchase, customers will receive a complimentary language learning book from the Boca Beth Program for products ordered during April 2010.

Butler, a former preschool and elementary school teacher is a noted bilingual educator of young children and strives to create better communication within our increasingly diverse society. She has lived in Chile and Mexico and is involved with the White House Initiative for Education Excellence for Hispanics.

“It’s so easy to get children excited about learning! We teach on their level. Take a little rhythm, add a little rhyme, throw in repetition, and you have a child remembering,” said Butler. This method has lead to the Boca Beth language learning series garnering parenting awards including: 2008 Editors' Choice Award/Family Review Center and Learning Magazine 2007 Teachers’ Choice Award for the Family. “We decided to build on that momentum and introduce green initiatives to our customers,” according to Butler.
