Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 7, 2010
Encore Health Resources has been selected to provide project management, consulting and advisory services for Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR) for their implementation of Cerner's Millennium EMR clinical solution.
DHR's implementation of Cerner to manage patient, health plan and materials information for clinical, financial and operational purposes will achieve "meaningful use" as defined in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and is projected to go live by the September 20, 2010, ARRA deadline.
Encore will provide consulting services through DHR's scheduled go-live and will stay on to assist with go-live support, followed by system stabilization and optimization. Encore's turnkey approach includes services for promoting clinician adoption of advanced clinical technologies and CPOE, as well as for training the staff to use the software.
"DHR has exceptionally strong leadership, a talented implementation team and a commitment to success," commented Dana Sellers, CEO of Encore Health Resources. "Ensuring patients receive the finest care across the continuum through the use of technology is a key driver for this initiative, and is the primary focus of Encore's assistance."
DHR is a 503-bed acute care facility providing a full range of medical and surgical services for the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
