Fundraising Events Provide Networking Opportunities for Foodservice Professionals

SFM Foundation events provide excellent opportunities for foodservice professionals to network with industry leaders, while also supporting a great cause

The Society for Foodservice Management (SFM), a national association dedicated to cultivating and educating executives in the on-site foodservice industry, announces several upcoming events supporting the SFM Foundation Scholarship Program.

The SFM Scholarship Program aims to raise awareness of the onsite foodservice industry among high school students, and the SFM Foundation offers scholarships to students who are enrolled in a high school hospitality and/or culinary program and are accepted into full-time restaurant/foodservice-related post-secondary programs.

“SFM Foundation events provide excellent opportunities for foodservice professionals to network with industry leaders, while also supporting a great cause,” said Scott Siers, Vice President of New Business, McLane Foodservice. “Through the SFM Undergraduate Merit Scholarship Program, we are able to encourage young leaders to pursue education in this growing industry, and inspire a new generation of foodservice professionals.”
