"Keeping It Wheel" could help eliminate damaging chemical accumulation deep within the rim. The accessory could help to facilitate the process of detailing one's tires without the need for constant touch-ups. The unit would feature a lightweight, compact design for easy storage and easy transport.

Keeping It Wheel would consist of a conical rim cover that would open and close like a paper fan. The unit could be producible from plastic and in various colors. Prior to washing a car's tire, a user would expand the cover into a circular configuration and attach it over the rim and hubcap. The unit would include a center handle for easy positioning. A user would then spray or coat the tires with detailing solutions, and the cover would prevent contact with the rim. After detailing the tire, a user would remove the cover and fold it back into its compact state. A small clamp would secure the unit in that position. The unit may include an accompanying carrying case for easy storage and transportation. The unit could be producible in various sizes to accommodate any rim size.
