Mobile Posse Inc., the leader in active idle screen advertising and CRM, announced today the results of a mobile survey it recently conducted on Tiger Wood's return to golf. The survey, delivered to idle screens of mobile devices nationwide, drove over 23% click-through rate from the banner, with over 36% of the engaged audience responding to the survey via the Mobile Posse application.

Mobile Posse now reaches over 3 million mobile subscribers, a 50% increase since the Company first announced its audience size a little over 6 weeks ago. Delivering well over 250 million impressions a month and producing industry leading engagement rates through its innovative idle-screen messaging platform, the Company is raising the bar once again for the type of engagement and audience participation that can be achieved via mobile.

The survey, dubbed "Eye on the Tiger," asked subscribers what they thought about Tiger's return and whether or not sponsors should embrace him once again. An overwhelming majority of the respondents felt that Tiger's return to golf was a good thing, with men being more supportive (64%) than women (56%) of his return. While both men and women were supportive of his return, 31% more women than men believe that he should have waited longer.

The survey results bode well for sponsors, with over 80% of the respondents suggesting that sponsors should accept and even welcome Tiger upon his return. While men and women were split evenly in suggesting that sponsors should be accepting of Tiger, women were 18% more likely to suggest that this was more of a financial decision. People in the 18 to 44 year age group were the most excited about Tiger's return, with the acceptance rates falling sharply beyond either end of that age group.

"While this was a fun and topical survey for us to run, the response rates tell marketers, researchers and brands what the mobile medium is capable of delivering," said Jon Jackson, Founder and CEO of Mobile Posse . "We are fortunate that we have had success in building such a rapidly growing and highly engaged base of mobile subscribers."

Mobile Posse's solution can not only deliver graphically rich and interactive messages to the idle screen of mobile devices, but it also supports a wide range of calls to action such as click-to-call, click-to-web, click-to-text, and click-to-download, as well as the ability to conduct short form surveys and polls. Marketers can leverage this information to learn more about their target audience in order to refine their approach in reaching that audience. Mobile Posse's platform is capable of delivering a survey and reporting performance results in just 3 days, making it a compelling complement to traditional surveying techniques used by researchers.
