On April 5, 2010, Worldwide Gladiators Championship (WGC) is an entertainment promotional company based out of Los Angeles California with satalite office in Houston is hosting Championship Series April 9, 2010 at the Pasadena Convention Center doors open at 6:00 p.m. first fight begins at 8:00 p.m.

Businessman/rapper P. "Master P" Miller has joined the cause making a special appearance at the event in an attempt to raise funds for Haiti. "Mixed Martial Arts is the fastest growing sports in the world," Master P said of his involvement in the MMA fight. "And to have the WGC bring awareness to education and helping the kids in Haiti get back into the school systems, I'm in. Together we can make a difference

WGC Fighter Sam “The Alaskan Assassin” Hoger will headline the heavyweight division along with several local fights such as: “Big Time” Nick Mitchell, Jon “El Jaguar” Kirk, Artenas “The Machine Gun” Young, Kenny “The Hurt” Burke and Nate Garza will join the cause. Sam Hoger most notable for appearing on the first season of UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter" says, "We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of these underprivileged kids through education."

Haiti, the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation has been hit by a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010. Southern Haiti was tragically damaged, killing over two hundred thousand people.
