Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 12, 2010
The Boston Metro West Chapter of eWomen Network announces the Boston date of the 38-city North American city tour of the "2010 Women's Success Imperative" with Sandra Yancey, CEO and Founder of eWomen Network, as May 18 at The Double Tree in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Yancey, who founded the largest Professional Women’s Networking community in North America, has been recognized as an American Hero by CNN, and is the recipient numerous awards including: Excellence in Leadership Award, Entrepreneur Star Award, Woman Advocate of the Year and Distinguished Women’s Award.
eWomen Network is leading a charge to make 2010 the “breakout” year for women entrepreneurs nationwide. According to Yancey, “We believe that it is ‘imperative’ that women support and buy from each other, and that we ‘lift others as we climb’ to success. In this conference and expo we focus on overcoming obstacles, and on moving ahead boldly. We believe 2010 can be a real breakout year for all women in business – if we work together.”
Marie Warner, Managing Director of the Boston Metro West Chapter adds that "Women are launching businesses at twice the rate of men, yet fewer than 2% of those firms break a million dollars in revenue. We must recognize our own success and 2010 is perfect time to seize opportunity.”
Yancey declares: “Women have set the stage to be wildly successful. This tour is about connecting with our members and guests, and inspiring that success with new marketing ideas and strategies.”
