A NEW RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE AWAITS TRAVELERS AT LAX TOM BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL

The opening of Daniels’ Bistro & Bar at LAX on April 8th, 2010, represents the conclusion of the Airport’s reconstruction project at the arrivals level of Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). Located in the center of the newly remodeled arrivals level is Daniels Bistro + Bar, a chic new restaurant that stands as a beacon, inviting those who are waiting for passengers and travelers arriving into Los Angeles on international flights to experience something new.

The Bistro’s California menu offers something for everyone: freshly prepared breakfast; paninis; specialty sandwiches; pizza; a variety of fresh salads; handmade crepes and scrumptious desserts. The Bistro’s Espresso Bar features “Velvet Hammer” and other specialty coffee and espresso drinks made from beans roasted exclusively for Daniels Bistro. On the south side of the restaurant is the bar which features premium wines, draft and bottled beers and signature cocktails accompanied flat screen televisions. Customers have the option of sitting at the bar or having drinks delivered to the lounge area where they can relax in comfort and style in one of Daniels Bistro’s blue leather lounge seats.

Adding to the unique atmosphere of the bar and lounge is a 20’ x 20’ video arts monitor which features beautiful scenes of California, abstract art and panoramic views of LAX’s nine terminals. The entire dining experience is heightened by china, flatware and glasses, impressive to even the savviest of international traveler. The friendly staff further enhances the experience as they greet you wearing fashionable black t-shirts that welcome customers in 26 different languages. This new LAX attraction is primed to offer its customers an experience to remember.

Daniels Bistro and Bar was developed by Clarence A. Daniels, Jr., the President and CEO of CMS Hospitality Corp, a family owned business. Daniels has operated restaurants at LAX since 1996. The company operates five other locations at LAX and owns and operates restaurants in five other airports. Daniels Bistro is the first restaurant that carries his family name.

Daniels has a passion for traveling. Daniels Bistro + Bar was created by a traveler for travelers. According to Daniels, “Travelers need an oasis at LAX where they can relax, enjoy good food and drink in a comfortable and friendly environment”. He believes that good customer service is the greatest gift a traveler can receive.
