Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) April 9, 2010
As part of a comprehensive strategy to leverage a wealth of business performance improvement capabilities, Chantilly based company 6 Sigma Technology Group (http://www.6sigmatech.com) has taken a new name: Management Science and Innovation (MSI). The decision to legally change the company’s name was made to emphasize MSI’s growth since its 2001 launch.
The name 6 Sigma Technology Group has, according to President Greg Sieber, "served the company well for nearly ten years, but the time has come to change." "Over the years, we have developed competencies and abilities in strategy, logistics, acquisition, human resources, and general management all of which leverage our core capabilities in Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Information Systems Development."
“The new name is really more descriptive of what the company has evolved into,” said Sieber. “We are experts in a wide range of management sciences and the development of new and innovative methods. Additionally, our staff is well versed on how to apply those management science techniques in innovative environments for successful results.”
Customers already familiar with the company will recognize the suite of services that the company is known for even though it is now being offered under the new MSI brand. To help ease the transition to the new name for customers accustomed to the old brand, the company will also be known as Management Science and Innovation DBA 6 Sigma Technology Group. The company Web site at http://www.6sigmatech.com is now also accessible under the new domain name at http://www.msi6.com.
