InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Indiana, has designed a hand tool for cleaning the threads of bolts and studs that cannot be started with a tap. This invention is patented.
The "Rude Threader 1.2.3." would operate from the inner part of the bolt or stud, cleaning all threads. The device would facilitate saving time and effort by eliminating the need to tap on a tap. The unit could provide a quick and easy way to restore bolts or studs.
The Rude Threader 1.2.3. would consist of a modified pair of steel pliers. The pivoting connection would feature a double-walled support. The jaw end of the tool would include various-sized round openings to accommodate studs and bolts of different sizes. The outer end of one jaw also would feature a pivoting thread lock with an adjustable end piece. The threaded lock would be flanked by a pair of outer locks. The second variation would be similar, but would feature a U-shaped top lock flanked by a pair of outer jaws. To use, an individual would select the appropriate opening, secure a fastener within the jaws and then turn the tool around the threads, working from the top to the bottom of the fastener. An alternative design would feature a mounted version on a deep-well socket to allow for use with a ratchet wrench. The tool could also be designed for use with standard and metric fasteners.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
