The multimedia marketing project dubbed “DiscountMugs TV” videocast was spearheaded by Marketing Department and Video Production Team. Host and video editing specialist Julie O’Neal performed one-minute long presentations of products from extensive inventory of promotional items. O’Neal commented on the multimedia marketing campaign by stating, “I truly feel the videos we made will help customers develop a better understanding of our products and services. These videos are more than just informative; they help customers develop a more personal connection with being that the entire project was done in-house.” The video production team also shot dozens of instructional videos designed to provide customers with insider knowledge on how customizable products are made and how they are best used for promotional purposes. multimedia marketing campaign was most successful on the popular video sharing website YouTube where the YouTube Channel generated a total of 100,502 views. Instructional video topic ranged from “How to Use Water-Slide Decals” and “How Pens are Made” to more informal topics “School Prom Ideas” and “Wedding Favor Ideas”. Some of the instructional videos generated thousands of views with the most successful video acquiring over 12,000 views. TV Channel remains popular on YouTube receiving around 13,000 visits a week. is continuing its multimedia marketing campaign and is scheduled to complete every product description video within the next three months.
