The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®) and AppFolio, Inc. announce the launch of GreenPropertyManagement.com, a new online resource for residential property managers interested in articles, interviews and surveys on topics relating to green technology, running a paperless office and ways to save money by ‘going green’.

NARPM® (a professional organization for managers of single-family and small multi-family residential properties) and AppFolio (providers of web-based property management software) have a strong commitment to provide valuable education for the property management community. “NARPM® continues to provide outstanding education and resources to our members and we look forward to helping them find more creative ways to save money and grow their business.” said NARPM® Executive Director, Gail Phillips, CAE.

AppFolio was recently selected by the NARPM® members as the 2009 Affiliate of the Year for their commitment to educating the property management industry. GreenPropertyManagement.com was developed after both parties recognized the need for more industry education on ‘green’ property management topics.

GreenPropertyManagement.com Topics Include:
-- How to use the ‘green trend’ to market properties more competitively.
-- How 'going green' can save you money over time.
-- Why renters care if your properties are ‘green’.
-- How to run a paperless office and why you should.
-- Surveys and interviews providing insight on how other property managers are ‘going green.’

“We are very happy to partner with NARPM® to offer this type of resource to the community,” said Brian Donahoo, President and CEO of AppFolio. “Property managers continue to find new ways to improve their profitability and we believe that running a paperless office that relies on web-based property management software provides the best foundation for long-term growth.”
