Robert A. Gambardella, CPA CTC, Principal at Concierge Tax Services, LLC of Shelton, CT, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Positive Cashflow Accounting Services, of Cranston, RI. The new organization will be organized under his leadership. As a result of the merger, Robert welcomes David A. Ruggieri, to the firm. David, former owner of Positive Cashflow Accounting Services, will continue to provide tax preparation and accounting services to clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, while Robert will add year-round proactive tax planning and consulting services. Says Robert, “This move allows Concierge Tax Services, LLC to gain immediate scale and size, and creates a foundation for further investments, while providing an even broader set of services to an existing client base. This is the first of many strategic moves that I have planned for 2010.”
Concierge Tax Services, LLC has been formally in business since 2005. The Shelton accounting firm has evolved from a basic tax preparation service, into a premium tax advisory firm, focused on addressing the needs of accomplished taxpayers who need and expect much more proactive advice and value from their accountant. David and Robert successfully partnered as undergraduates at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, where they co-founded the Institute of Management Accountant’s Student Chapter at the school. They also both served internships together at T.M. Byxbee Co. Their strong friendship made the decision to combine tax practices a natural fit. They have each excelled in their respective careers, and clients should expect to benefit greatly from their combined experience.
To support tremendous recent growth, Carl Yacoub will also be joining Concierge Tax Services, LLC to assist with tax research, client questions, and other various assignments. He is currently enrolled at Sacred Heart University and will complete his Masters of Business Administration degree in December 2010. He plans to obtain his CPA, and with mentors like Robert and David, he is well on his way to a successful career.
