Army Awards Remote Medical Coding Contract to DOMA Technologies

The Army has selected DOMA Technologies to provide Medical Coding Services to select Northwest Region Military Treatment Facilities. DOMA will provide Business-To-Business remote coding services using their iCodeRx SaaS application and ensure that coding services meet 95% accuracy. DOMA’s health information management team will code, abstract, analyze and assemble medical record data and assign diagnoses and procedure codes for Inpatient Rounds (RNDS), Ambulatory Procedure Visits (APVs), and Outpatient Clinical Data/Records and meets JCAHO and Army regulatory requirements.

DOMA’s health information management team will code, abstract, analyze and assemble medical record data and assign diagnoses and procedure codes for Inpatient Rounds (RNDS), Ambulatory Procedure Visits (APVs), and Outpatient Clinical Data/Records and meets JCAHO and Army regulatory requirements.

DOMA will be using their state-of-the-art iChart and iCodeRx technology, an ultra secure web-based remote record management and coding system to meet the requirements of the Army. DOMA is required to review and verify component parts of medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy of diagnosis, operations, and special therapeutic procedures that must conform to Health Care Financing Administration and Department of Defense Coding Guidelines. DOMA is responsible to code the principal diagnosis, co-morbidities, complications, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, supplies, materials, injections, and drugs, etc. with ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS – all levels, and any other coding classification systems that may be required by the DOD.
