SISTEM™ Training Platform Showcased to Help Improve Food Safety.

Each year the Food Safety Summit provides a great forum for us to meet with companies in the food industry that are taking a proactive stance for food safety.

Alchemy, the leader in innovative training solutions for the global workforce, today announced its sponsorship of the 2010 Food Safety and Security Summit, the largest and most established food safety and defense exposition in North America. This year’s summit, held April 13-14 in Washington, DC, follows the motto “Food Safety is No Accident” and provides the perfect stage for Alchemy to feature the SISTEM training and compliance management platform.

“Each year the Food Safety Summit provides a great forum for us to meet with companies in the food industry that are taking a proactive stance for food safety,” said Alchemy’s Chief Operating Officer David Perl. “In addition, the educational sessions give us the opportunity to learn more about new advancements and regulations in the industry, which helps us refine our products to better serve our customers.”

The SISTEM training and compliance management platform has a simple format that includes hand-held remotes, interactive courseware and a robust learning management system. It helps companies instantly train their staff on a wide range of industry-specific topics, in multiple languages, with automatic documentation of the results. The advanced reporting capabilities help reduce preparation time for audits and improve audit results.

Alchemy will be speaking at the Vendor Track Theatre on Tuesday April 13th from 12:15pm to 12:45pm on “Applying HACCP Principles to Production Worker Training.” The presentation highlights one of the most important, but often overlooked components of a successful HACCP program – training. It will teach attendees how to develop an efficient and effective worker training program by following the steps outlined by the HACCP principles.

In addition to speaking at this year’s event, Alchemy will also be exhibiting and participating in this year’s “Passport to Food Safety.” Attendees are encouraged to stop by Alchemy’s booth, number 619, to learn more about SISTEM training and have an Alchemy representative stamp their passport to be entered into a prize drawing.
