Web-Est, LLC announced full-compatibility of the Web-Est collision estimating software and Apple's® new iPad. Continuing to push innovation to the collision repair market, Web-Est is excited to offer the only estimating product that works seamlessly with the cutting edge technology of the new iPad.
Traditional collision estimating providers require installation of their software onto the end-user's local computer or server. And, as MicrosoftTM has established a large segment of the personal computer market, these estimating providers have only developed programs that are WindowsTM compatible. Web-Est's unique internet-based platform allows the customer to work with Apple's® Safari browser or the iPad, as well as any WindowsTM compatible computer including the new 64-bit operating sytems that are challenging the other estimating software providers. Using a light weight iPad with Web-Est's online auto collision estimating software is also ideal for CAT claims and hail damage events. With a simple download of a one-time, $7.00 iPad application, the user enables the faxing, sharing or emailing of a Web-est completed estimate to any location around the world.
"Imagine being out in the field writing an estimate while wirelessly connected to your estimating software. Or perhaps, standing outside a collision repair shop being able to use the new iPad tablet, the two products makes it possible." Seidel continued, "Since Web-Est works with Apple's Safari Browser and operates on an online platform it makes writing estimates remotely or wirelessly extremely easy. With the new iPadTM being sold for less than $1000.00 and $99 a month for Web-Est, the two together allows for a very affordable and mobile estimating package"
Web-Est provides a logic-based collision repair estimating program for $99 per month. They offer a full database of labor times, OEM and Aftermarket parts, and is provided by Mitchell International through a special data agreement with Web-Est, allowing users to easily estimate collision repair damages. Their online platform is issued to licensed auto body shop customers and others in the collision repair community, such as auto adjusters and insurance companies.
Web-Est services cater to the small- to mid-size auto body shop market by providing low-cost, logic based collision repair estimating software.
