CARMA International, the global leader in media analysis, announced today that Alan Chumley will be joining the firm as a senior measurement consultant. Chumley will serve on CARMA's senior management team and consult with CARMA's U.S. and international clients.

Chumley has been a vocal proponent of PR measurement in Canada throughout his career. Prior to joining CARMA, Chumley served as the principal of measurement consultancy PRooph, the Director of Measurement at Hill & Knowlton Canada, a VP at Cormex Media Content Analysis, and a Director of Corporate Communications at Bell Canada. He holds a masters degree in communication, media and culture from York University with research that focused on audience studies and reception analysis. Chumley teaches PR measurement at Ryerson University in Toronto and speaks, blogs (alanchumley.wordpress.com), and tweets (alanchumley) about communications measurement.
