Their talk will ask the question ‘Got Engagement?’ to conference participants who represent senior marketing leaders from all health and healthcare sectors. Engaging people in their health is more important than ever. In many industries, a transformation from a “push” to a “pull” relationship with customers has occurred as they’ve been empowered with new media. People now expect to be engaged on their terms in smart, more convenient, and faster ways. They will address the opportunity for the healthcare industry to consider these new engaging approaches and enabling technologies? inGAGE ME! will cover a world-changing review of innovative engagement examples from consumer-centric brand leaders, and how these approaches can inspire positive changes in healthcare. They will also review the rapidly emerging mHealth opportunity to engage people on a personal level.
Bob Isherwood added: “New media continues to offer exciting new opportunities to engage people on a more targeted and personal basis. All too often, however, it is still being used to simply deliver ‘push’ messages. I will be focusing on examples of emotional engagement from outside and within the Health and Healthcare industries, and why it matters. We will also be presenting an exciting consumer-centric engagement opportunity at the conference for Health and Healthcare companies.” Bob served as Global Chief Creative Officer for Saatchi & Saatchi for 12 years. There, he oversaw communications ideas created for some of the world’s major corporations, including Procter & Gamble. Bob is a member of the Clio Hall of Fame and Co-author of the book ‘World Changing Ideas’.
Steve Cook added: “Healthcare is increasingly becoming more of a consumer purchase decision. There is a blue ocean strategy business opportunity for healthcare companies to understand the ‘day in the life of’ their clients holistically to engage them on a personal level. One rapidly emerging opportunity for personalized healthcare is the mobile health opportunity, known as mHealth. mHealth will continue to be consumer led as people increasingly use their mobile phone as their personal control tower for everything happening in their daily lives.” Steve Cook is the former Samsung Electronics SVP, Chief Marketing Officer for North America, the Worldwide VP Strategic Marketing and Innovation at Coca-Cola, and a P&G Brand Manager.
