MyCourse is an integration of two Pearson products: MyCourse combines the powerful formative assessment tools, personalized learning and media resources of MyLabs with the comprehensive online learning curriculum of CourseConnect™.

Established in 1986, the CODiE Awards celebrate outstanding achievement across the software, digital information and education technology industries. The comprehensive review process of nominated products includes intense scrutiny by subject matter experts, education industry analysts, journalists and specialists in the implementation of education technology.

Inheriting CourseConnect's simple navigation, the MyCourses are intuitive, user friendly, and technologically advanced. Each course is developed, designed and tested by a large team of professionals, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, graphic designers, instructors, assessment specialists, students and others. MyCourse offers numerous benefits for institutions and instructors, including an optimized learning environment, easy-to-navigate design and detailed instructor resource guides. Pearson's 13 finalists were chosen from more than 327 education nominations submitted by 124 companies.

In the next step of the CODiE Awards process, MyCourse will be voted on by the entire SIIA membership to determine if it is the winner of the Best Postsecondary Instructional Solution category. The 2010 CODiE Awards will be announced at the 2010 Ed Tech Industry Summit in San Francisco on May 24.
