Eton Systems will display its latest ETON 5000 manufacturing solution at SPESA EXPO. The hands-on demonstration will feature the extended range options for large and heavy product production as well as the latest ETONselect shop floor data collection and production management software. Eton will team with Henderson Sewing Machine to highlight the benefits of the latest equipment and work aids.

Eton Systems Inc. will leverage its participation in the May 18-20 SPESA EXPO tradeshow and exposition in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) to demonstrate its latest ETON 5000™ materials handling and production system with the integrated ETONselect™ real-time shop floor control software. Eton will integrate its hands-on system demonstration within the 2500 square foot Henderson Sewing Machine exhibit in Booth #5039 to highlight the productivity and ergonomic benefits available through the combination of the ETON system and the latest machinery and work aids. The companies expect the exhibit to appeal to apparel, home fashion, military contractors, and a wide range of other sewn products manufacturers.

New for 2010, the ETON 5000 features an extended range of configuration options designed to handle virtually any size or weight sewn products from apparel to parachutes. The ability to transport and ergonomically position large and heavy products for sewing and other operations is made possible through the use of more robust system framework and components. All ETON 5000 hardware is interchangeable and upgradable to enable companies to move or expand to new product ranges with the system.

“With a diverse attendee base, SPESA EXPO is a great opportunity for us to meet with the many industry segments we serve,” noted Per Bringle, Vice President of Eton Systems Inc. “Our latest system enhancements allow us to deliver the proven benefits and savings we are known for to a broader range of manufacturers. Even those that have looked at us in the past can benefit from visiting us for an update at SPESA EXPO 2010.”

The Eton 5000 enables sewn products companies to achieve the speed, visibility, and cost savings needed to compete now and into the future. This fifth generation hardware platform is the culmination of Eton’s 40 years of experience with more than 4000 successful system implementations across 60 countries. The ETONselect modular software suite streamlines production management by leveraging real-time shop floor information across the entire business.

“We are pleased to team with Eton Systems at SPESA EXPO,” added Frank Henderson, President of Henderson Sewing Machine Company. “The benefits of the Eton System are compounded with the use of the most efficient equipment, attachments, and work aids. We believe that our industry benefits through partnering to solve problems and collaborating to expand new business opportunities.”
