Avenue Bank will host four free seminars for first-time homebuyers and current homeowners in the Nashville area.

“Avenue Bank was created to serve the people of Nashville and the surrounding communities,” Mr. Samuels said. “These free seminars are one more way we are serving the people of this community. Homeownership can be a reality for many, if they have the facts and a good understanding of the process. For people who already own a home, but may be considering a move, we hope to share our knowledge and make the home buying process easier. Everyone is welcome.”

The free seminars will provide information on the steps in the home-buying process, financing options, affordable housing programs, and tips on choosing a mortgage company. The seminars have been created for both first-time homebuyers, as well as current home owners who might want a better understanding of their options.

The scheduled seminars are as follows:

  •     Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., at Spoken Word Café, 1801 Jefferson St.
  •     Wednesday, May 5, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. at Farmers Market, 2nd floor meeting room, 900 Rosa Parks Blvd.
  •     Thursday, May 6, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. at Farmers Market, 2nd floor meeting room, 900 Rosa Parks Blvd.
  •     Saturday, May 8, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Spoken Word Café, 1801 Jefferson St.

Reservations are not required but suggested, as there will be limited seating and refreshments will be served. If you are planning to attend, please call Heather Redmond at 615-386-4350 or email her at heather.redmond (at) avenuenashville (dot) com

The programs held at Spoken Word Café will include a continental breakfast for attendees, and a light lunch will be provided at the two sessions scheduled at Farmers Market.
