I Love Rewards, web-based leader in employee rewards and recognition programs, has been honored as a recipient of the 2010 WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces award along with organizations from around the world. This announcement comes as part of the fourth annual Democracy in the Workplace Day.

"The best way to engage and align employees is to promote transparency, accountability and recognition across all levels of a company, "said Razor Suleman, CEO and founder of I Love Rewards. "A democratic workplace is integral to growing people, who in turn, are integral to growing companies. We are thrilled to be on the WorldBlu's list for the second consecutive year and to help spread their mission to make businesses rethink their management models and adopt a democratic style."

The WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces is organized by WorldBlu, an Austin-based social enterprise. The 44 company list is made up of organizations that demonstrate the practice of ten democratic principles, including transparency, dialogue and listening, integrity, accountability, and choice on a leadership, individual, and systems and processes level. Employees from participating organizations were given a survey based on a decade of research on what makes a world-class democratic workplace. The first WorldBlu Awards ceremony will be held June22-23 in Las Vegas, sponsored by Zappos Insights.

"Nothing has proven the need for a new model of business as definitively as the current economic crisis," says WorldBlu Founder and CEO, Traci Fenton. "These democratic companies model how giving power to their people, especially during challenging economic times, can increase innovation and engagement while boosting the bottom-line."

Among I Love Rewards, the recipients include Zappos.com, Meetup, DaVita, and Great Harvest Bread Company and many more.
