Lyrix Inc., a provider of hosted wireless mobility, voice, and unified communications solutions to SMB and Fortune 100 clients worldwide, announced today the release of a Free SugarCRM Mashup for Mobiso Users

Stewart Hampton, Director of Sales & Marketing at Lyrix states: “To coincide with SUGARCON coming up April 12-14, we have enabled Mobiso users to automatically sync. their annotated calls with their SugarCRM account. They no longer need to open up Sugar and manually create call records. Since a lot of client calls come in to mobile phones (rather than office phones while your at your PC, Mobiso is great at tracking those inbound calls by Contact Name/Date/Time/Purpose etc. and feeding that to Sugar. Mobiso also provides an Export Plugin to get my SugarCRM contacts into Mobiso without retyping."

TECHIES READ ON!

btw since Sugar is open source, we put the Mobiso plugin on SugarForge at:

http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/lyrixmobiso/

so any Sugar user that wants to use Mobiso the way I do can ask their Sugar Admin. to get the code. Download the plugin . Be sure to select the version which matches your Sugar version, either 5.2 or 5.5. Both versions perform the same processing.

Use the Module Loader to install the module as described in the SugarCRM administration guide:

http://developers.sugarcrm.com/docs/OS/5.5/-docs-Administration_Guides-CommunityEdition_Install_Admin_Guide_5.1-System_Administration.4.6.html#1207622

The instructions are the same for both versions of Sugar. After uploading the file, be sure to click 'Install'.

To check the installation, navigate to the Contacts and Employees pages and look for the Export to Mobiso option in the left hand column.

Refer to the readme.txt file for additional instructions.
